Sentinel "Gearbox"
Museum Victoria [Science works] These English steam lorry’s were built in fairly large numbers up to the early 1920’s. Numerous breaks / fractures in casings warranted replacement of section. Pattern made in house and piece cast up locally then metalocked into position before final machining - No specifications or drawings were available but careful measurement of existing sizes/ stud location and geometry was sufficient to extrapolate for any missing sections.
