Major tissue manufacturer had Yankee Drive Gearbox gear failure resulting in casing fracture around center hub.  Scope of works included initial survey, dismantling, cleaning, Metalock casting repairs, and machining both bearing bores. Then manufacture of sleeve to suit., Fit sleeve – bore to finish size and rivet into position – then split in centre line as required. Unit steam cleaned – gears preserved for assembly.
