High Speed Gear Set

These set of high speed gears off a major printing press had a catastrophic failure resulting in several gears being stripped. Replacement gears were 6 weeks delivery, manufacturing new gears locally was similar in timeframe. Metalock of Australia P/L was contracted to repair gears ASAP which required machining out broken teeth segments – making up new sections and Metalocking these into position which was carried out in quick time – then sub contracted out to finish machine at local Gear manufacturer [jobbing section]. Gears reinstalled – unit back in production, several weeks saved.
